Having grown up on the shores of Port Phillip bay and fishing since he was 2 years of age with his Father, Grandfather and Uncles, Jason’s knowledge of the bay is unsurpassed. Graduating on inshore and bay species, he quickly moved to the game fishing scene using the vast east coast as his sportsfishing playground.
“Fishing always made me happy when I was growing up and now I get the satisfaction of seeing a person’s face light up when they hook that fish they have dreamed of catching”
Jason has skippered charter boats in Port Phillip, Bermagui, South West Rocks & Portland before starting his own venture with Magnet Fishing Charters. He has spent time studying fisheries and fisheries resources at the Australian maritime college and has been a licensed Coxswain for 17 years.
